Hi Karen! Asparagus is super easy - you just need time:) I buy crowns that take 1-3 years to mature, so the waiting is hard, but planting is no problem. I dig a trench deep enough so that the crown have enough room to spread out, and then plant each about 12 inches apart :)
SO cool...thank you for sharing...I think we'll look for a clump of crowns! I've been wanting to for a long time. Do you have rhubarb? I think I may put my asparagus (IF I find some) near the rhubarb!
oh! I so want to grow Asparagus!
ReplyDeletehow hard is it? do you need a lot of room? oh the questions I could pepper you with about this most delicious and fought-over veggie!
congrats on the sprouts
blessings
Karen
