No real changes...a fiber and literary non-update....

Good morning everyone!  It is Wednesday, and we are Yarning Along with Ginny and joining in with Tami's Amis' Work in Progress  and Ambassador Crochet today!

And I feel a bit silly joining in.  See, I am working on the same sweater, and reading the same book.  Nothing new here....

Except for a really bad photo....sorry about that!
But both are going well, and the book especially is eye opening.  This is one that I would love to see introduced to some high school reading lists....Even if you don't agree with Joel Salatin, his style is bluntly honest and refreshing.

Very, very thought provoking.

Well, that is all that I have for now.  The morning hours are coming upon me, and I have some lunches to pack...and kids to drag out of their beds to get ready for a day at school

Head on over to Ginny's, Tami's, and Ambassador's Crochet other interesting ventures into literary and fiber fun.

  1. I can see you've made progress on the sweater, though! And I really need to get that book....I've read other books by Joel and saw that he is the farmer who raises pigs for Chipotle (have you been there? my fav burritos with lime cilantro rice and guac)!!!

  2. Some weeks are like that. I'm sure you've made progress, you just can't see it because it all looks the same to you.

  3. Oh, sweaters make your weeks like that! I had a tunic where I swear it looked the same for weeks on end!

  5. Would love to see the sweater you're working on. Lay it out next time so we can see it. Keep going, you'll get there, a row here, a row there.

  6. I read about Joel Salatin in the Omnivore's Dilemna but didn't realize he had his own book out. I will have to check that out. Thanks!

  7. Joel Salatins books helped to motivate me when we first moved to our farm from the city. Take what you like and leave what you dont. Oh and sometimes I am on the same project for a few weeks too : )
