So, I finished my shawl...but, as you can see by the picture, it is a better fit for my seven year old then for me...
So, I finished my shawl...but, as you can see by the picture, it is a better fit for my seven year old then for me...Feeling a bit let down, I thought I would get crazy and to relearn knitting. Sounds simple, right?
Well, not so much... I will keep y'all posted, but right now...well, it ain't pretty....
thank you for sharing your mishaps as well! i think sometimes i get so intimidated cause everyone's projects are so lovely! it is hard not to expect perfection some how isn't it? and totally unrealistic.

It looks pretty, such a shame the size wasn't right though. Relearning knitting sounds like a good plan to me ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the colors. Maybe I'll add shawls to my list of things to make for myself and the girls. I have tried knitting a few times...so far I can cast on.
