Good morning everyone! It is Wednesday, and we are Yarning Along with Ginny and joining in with Tami's Amis' Work in Progress and Ambassador Crochet today!
Just a super quick update. As you can see above, I am working hard to finish my daughter's sweater, which will be a larger version of the sweaters we made for the ladies last week ( picture at left).
I am not following at pattern, which means that I constantly making my daughter try on the sweater over and over again....but we are getting there!
I am just shocked that she is actually planning to wear the sweater....this, from the girl that I have to BEG to wear a coat during the winter... but that is another story ;)
Cross your fingers for the grand finale this weekend!!
No pattern? I'm amazed! And it has sleeves and everything. Congrats on getting your little one to wear it. Dolly matching is a powerful tool. :)
ReplyDeleteHaving a sweater to match her little lady's sweater is too irresistible! I used to love dressing up to match my Mom or my sister!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed, Lee Ann!
ReplyDeleteHow cool! Making your daughter and her doll matching sweaters is such a neat idea!
ReplyDeleteThat is coming out awesome! Can't wait to see it finished...bet you can't either! Thanks for sharing on my WIP Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteThe sweater is really coming along...lots of good progress, very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it!!, love the fact you are pattern-les, and I love the yarn... just so cute! Looking forward to seeing it finished XX
ReplyDeleteI refuse to let my daughter see this or she will be begging me to do this as well - not fair!
ReplyDeleteEnvy, again, is so ugly in a person: really; no pattern? Impressed Envy - is that possible?
Blessings
Karen
