Hi everyone. It is that time again - we are Yarning Along with Ginny and joining in with Tami's Amis' Work in Progress and Ambassador Crochet !
I am happy to report that I finished my daughter's sweater over the weekend - Hurrah!! Such a relief. I am really happy with how it turned out, and am thinking that another (maybe in a bigger size....) may be in my future.
AND....drum roll please....she EVEN wore it! Well, for about 5 minutes, but in my book, that totally counts!

Next up is a scarf for myself - selfish, I know ;) *giggles*.
I am using the spider web lace pattern that I used for a holiday gift back in December. Something nice and easy. And a tad bit relaxing :)

Wait, I thought your next project was a sweater for the guinea pigs!!!
ReplyDeleteThe sweater looks gorgeous, lovely job :) And there is nothing wrong with selfish crafting, after all why shouldn't we get to enjoy the fruits of our own labours?!
ReplyDeleteLove the sweater - the yarn for the scarf looks absolutely beautiful... any hints on how you did the sweater?

Love how the sweater turned out, and glad it got some wear. Maybe it'll make an encore appearance at Easter? Scarf color is beautiful, too. And good for you for making something for yourself!
ReplyDeleteThe sweater looks lovely! And I agree with Paula: it'd look perfect over an Easter dress.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a scarf for you; that's not selfish at all! Lovely blue!
ReplyDeleteI love that sweater...it's beautiful! I so want to make a cowl for myself, but I keep adding projects to the queue. :-( Can't wait to see yours!
